Does anyone have information on how to order a steering cable for a Grand Sport inboard? I have searched the forum (and the internet) and I can't find any specific information on this. I hear it is an Acco Rotary cable, and is "very hard to find."

I also can't find a number on the cable itself to reference.

Does anyone know a part number or what can be substituted for this cable?

Our lake is 22" low and I can't get my Nautique on the lift anymore. I am interested in a 18' or 20' Hydrodyne but I have a lot of questions. Before I make a longwinded post I want to see if anyone is here?

I'm trying to learn more about Hydrodyne's construction process for their tournament inboards that they started producing in 1991. Supposedly their construction process used something they called Hydro-core which added something to the lay-up process in the hull, adding strength. A process used in offshore racing boat hulls, but I can't find anything about it. Any help or guidance to other sources that might have history would be appreciated. Several members have posted their calculations of the max power for the 18. I measured my boat including the bump rail and I believe I came up with 140 hp when rounding up. I will re-do it and publish the details later although it may not be relevant since every one seems to want at least 150.

I have read extensively about this rating and it is based solely on the length and width at the transom and is arbitrary. It does not apply to the I/O version at all, only the outboard. The 18...

Here is a picture my buddy who works @ Tommy Bartlett just took. It looks to be a 18' bottom and some sort of modified upper deck. He said there are a bunch of old Dyne race boats there too. I am going to see if he can take some pics of them for me....

We had visitors here at the lake this morning.

Dyna-Kid (Kevin) and his daughter (Nikki) are in Florida for a few days while she is in swivel ski school at Knotty-Girl in Winter Haven.

They came to ski with us this morning. My daughter Pam (swivski1) and Nikki both skied. They took turns, it was really fun to watch and really lifted my spirits. It reminded me of days gone by when many of Pam's friends would come and ski with us.

Unlike many boat drivers, I love to tow swivel.

Hi guys, so... going along with the oddities of my "big-foot" boat. (hmmm, that might be a fitting name!

So, now that the motor is running like a top and I have "some" electrical items such as the lights working correctly, My sight is on the tilt feature. I think the wiring is all messed up as one of the large wires off the pump is literally running straight to the pump. My question (for now) is about the pistons on the outdrive. I've been searching for info on this boat, can't find any. I was told only 3 was made at the 19ft. I purchased it off original owner, but he didn't have an owners manual. Does anyone have any info on this boat, or if its even possible to get an owners manual on it? He gave me the manuals on the Mercrusier 225 HP, 302 (Ford).

I am looking for whatever information which I can learn about my new boat. I have included part of the registration to help with Hull ID numbers and whatnot. She's a 19-foot sleek beauty built in 1967 and powered by the 120hp Mercruiser (Iron Duke motor) She's very original from what I can tell other than a poor repaint on the topsides (this will be repainted)

Thought I'd try and break up the winter blues and show you the project that my dad has been working on and I've been helping him some. After driving past this boat on the side of the road for weeks, he finally stopped and had a conversation with the guy. I need a replacement Hydrodyne emblem and I cannot find one anywhere. I have looked into having one cut on a water jet but the company needs something in writing allowing me to have one made. Some sources state that Calabria boats owns the name but they do not answer their phone. When I try to send an email it gets kicked back. Has anybody dealt with this before and found a solution?
