Looks like I need to replace the ECM in my 1994 Ford inboard PMC Marine Power/mod PCM 40 Serial 93-07251... My port injected is experiencing a "lean pop" and the back end of the ECM is, get this, melting!

Any suggestions for where I might find this part? I'm getting frustrated...

Talk to skidim, but the short answer is, you probably won't find a replacement. You're likely looking at retrofitting to a carb/distributor if it's ignition/computer related. And is it the ECM or one of the coil packs that's melting? The coil packs had a tendency to melt.

Try fort fremont marine they found a computer for an 01 gt40 this spring. I think I heard a computer from a 93 to 95 ford lightning might work.
