    The herons, egrets, ibis,wood ducks, and ducks wander through the yard also. They are pretty shy. The sandhills will walk right up to you, and talk to you.

    I saw a heron eat a snake one day. It did not look safe to me.

    Is that why they don't taste like ckicken :twisted:. Just wish they would eat gulls and muskrats
