My wife and I just picked up her dads 1968 Hydrodyne that he purchased new in 68. He used it for ski shows in michigan. It was stored at a house 50 miles away. The boat has been sitting in a field uncovered. There is no motor and missing alot of chrome details. The outdrive is still there. My question is it worth trying to bring this classic back to life. The serial number is LAZ 403334F268. I will post pictures later. Any information about this boat and if it worth restoring would be appreciated.

New to the site, not the boats.
I see no one answered; an answer is 'up to you'; 1)what are you going to do with it when you are finished; 2) do you have the resources, $ and hrs; and 3) do you think you would like doing it. "Worth doing" is not part of the equation...boats or cars.

Love my 68, but yours looks like quite the project. Can you post pics of the dash and outdrive?
