    Hey I was browsing CL and I found this boat, I love the 18 with a 225 Alien cowl! Really nicely done restore. I (still) can't afford a dyne, but maybe someone on here would enjoy this thing! What a sweet boat!

    Mike,
    Price a newer Merc like the one that's on that 18 and figure in what a total restoration of that caliber costs and you'll see it's not really that too high for what he's selling. I'm restoring an 18 like it and believe me you can dump a ton of money into one quickly these days.

    Bob I totally agree with you he's probably still taking a loss at that price but I just meant in general it's a lot of money for an 18". But it's so sharp and totally worth it :) but at the end of the day it's still 15k, for me that's a lot of money worth it or not :)
