Didn't former President Kennedy, and his family own a Hydrodyne Boat at some point? I have seen old film footage of Jackie Kennendy watersking with one of the astronauts. I think the boat they were using was a Hydrodyne. If that rumor is true, then what year and model was it? Maybe this is good question for Bev.
The fiberglassics site is down right now. I believe there is a story over there about the Kennedy's taking delivery of a Dyne in 1963 on the day JFK was killed. jim
John F. Kennedy was a Superior American Citizen who did many great deeds while serving his country. It saddens me to think that the movie that Zapruder (?) shot of the limousine in Texas could have been of the Kennedy family smiling wide as the Hydrodyne pulled them over the water.
I spoke with Ab Crosby over Facebook IM. I asked him. He informed me that the Hydrodynes purchased by the seven original astronauts as well as the the boat sold to the Kennedy's Were 17 foot buller jet's. Not familiar with that boat but that's what he told me.
