Has anyone here ever run a late 80s to early 90s 2.0L V4 Looper Johnrude on a 20 single? Or on any dyne? Have a basket case engine I am going to redo this winter, might run it on a 20 single next year just to see how it performs. I would expect 41-42 mph.

That is the top speed of my 18 with the original motor. Now that I have the 1990 GT 200 on it with a Michigan Wheel 14.25 x 19'' stainless it gets to 43 or so. Like a rocket. Once the floor and transom gets replaced the water weight will be gone along with the bent transom.
