Finally completed rebuild. I decide to update the seating. I want to thank this site and Marks pictures for giving me the courage to start. 2 summers later, anyhow, boat is completely rebuilt and good for another 30 years and there is no style of boat better for serious skiing and lots of fun as we all know.
Re: 1978 rebuild finally completed good for another 30 ye very nice rebuild. love the seating arrangements. these boats truly are the best at what they do. Richard
Re: 1978 rebuild finally completed good for another 30 ye Beautiful! That interior looks great. Are the seats from a specific application?
Re: 1978 rebuild finally completed good for another 30 ye I convinced the owner of Campion Boats, Kelona British Columbia to sell me some seats at a local boat show. It is modeled after their 580 model.
Re: 1978 rebuild finally completed good for another 30 ye Wow-- this boat is incredible. I have recently purchased a '72 dyne similar to this, but red. How much were you able to buy seats from Campion for? Also, were you able to install them yourself? and I see speakers as well, what system did you go with and if there are more speakers where are they mounted as well?
Re: 1978 rebuild finally completed good for another 30 ye The buckets were a little over $400 each. The back was a bit custom I believe it end up around $600. The buckets are easy to install. They are mounted on Garelick low profile seat slide and locking swivels #75096. Turns out to be the perfect height. The back speaker boxes I built custom. There are two speakers under the dash as well. The speakers are Alpine Marine and Sony and it is ust a sony marine deck.
