'67 Dyne

    I am totally new to boats, just starting this project, does anyone know where I can get a windshield?

    100 hp merc 1000
    17'
    Any info you have will be much appreciated. Model, problems, ect...

    I have since learned this is a 1961.

    I think the windshields are not available, although it probably would not be too hard to fabricate one. If you cannot save yours you can just run without one. I like the boats better without the windshield.

    I think the windshield may be the least of your worries. I would check the hull core before spending any money. Tap on it with the butt end of a hammer handle. "Dead" sounds are water or rot. Sharp sounds are an indication that it is OK. Check the transom too.

    Check in the restoration section for core replacement projects.
