The Twin Cities River Rats are hosting a "Building Bridges" water ski show. The show is this Thursday, August 9, at 6:30 pm. All donations go to the American Red Cross for the clean up efforts they are doing. We are inviting skiers from other teams to participate in this event, and looking to have one heckuva crowd. If you are interested in watching, stop by. If you are interested in skiing, let me know. Please see the attached flier. For more info: http://www.tcriverrats.com
Re: Building Bridges Water Ski Show - Proceeds support American I'm going to try to come over and see the show with my family Thursday night. I'll try to talk some friends into joining me. Is there an easy way to spot you so I can introduce myself?
Re: Building Bridges Water Ski Show - Proceeds support American I will be the only guy in a River Rats Wet suit that goes over the jump. I'm really hoping that a few jumpers from other teams will join us so I don't have to be the 1 man jump team again. The announcer "should" call me Jeremy when I'm on stage as well. If you are able, hang out for a while after the show (not sure when the kids bedtime is). I will need to pull the jump back to shore right after the show, as it will be getting dark when we are done. I am also the guy that owns the 18' dyne. During the show, I will probably be driving it for the backwards around the boat, but somebody else drives it for the rest of the show.
Re: Building Bridges Water Ski Show - Proceeds support American One of the guys on the ski team said this the company he works for will match our donation to the Red Cross, up to $100,000. That's stepping it up!
