The USA Water Ski site had the Show ski nationals live over the weekend. I watched some of the teams. If you missed it, they usually archive the shows and you can watch whichever one you want.

I caught the Janesville Rock Aqua Jays show and for a Dyne fan it was fantastic. They have two triple rig Dynes, one with 750 hp and one with 900 hp. Both are Mercury powered. They pulled some really impressive loads with those boats. I think one act was 23 bare-footers behind two booms. Great show Janesville. I really enjoyed it.

Janesville is continuing a 40+ year tradition of multi engine Dynes with Mercury power. It was great fun to watch. I hope this tradition can continue through several more generations. There are other teams with triple engine Dynes as well. They are impressive also.

I did not catch the Backwater show, but they use a tandem pull with two twin rig Dynes which is fun to watch also.

Janesville used Yamahas up until 1994. Then they made the switch to Mercury.

Yamaha's were first marketed in the US in 1984 so it was not Yamaha.

Personally my favorite boats the RAJs used was back in 1986. They had Nautiques with the custom cut low profile smoked windshields, and one had a 454 in it.
