    Okay...

I have again updated the forum software, this time to the Release Candidate 1 Version. That means there will be few changes between this release and the final product.
    This is good!

As you can tell, the style also changed. We will be going back to the old style (most likely) sometime very soon (i.e. tomorrow). I just need to make some modifications to the new pages, and things will be back to normal.

    Known issues:

    1) Avatars have been deleted. They are now saved into the database instead of as files. I will hopefully be able to restore these, or you can just change/re-upload a new one. That will fix that issue.

    2) Smilies: Yep...as you can tell if you make a post, some of the smilies are oversized and funny-looking. Those will be fixed as well. Yeeha!

Just to update...the above two issues "should" be fixed. If you're having any problems with the smilies or your avatar, just let me know.

The style will still be updated sometime tomorrow.

One thing I noticed is the the view new posts option is only available on the main forum page. After that, it's gone. That's my favorite button!!!

I agree.....The view new posts is also my favorite.

Too hard to use in this new format. Can you change that ???

Yeah I don't know what happened here so I am working to get it resolved as Bryan won't be off of work until 4 or 5 pm this afternoon.

I have restored the original style, but most of the pictures are gone.
I will be working on that right now.

    Ok,

I have gone through and changed a bunch of stuff, any issue please post them here. Believe it or not in the last three days Bryan has moved from Oklahoma, back to California and started at his new job. Yet he still has time to work on the site, now that is some Dyne dedication.

    Bryan,

The only thing I can't seem to fix is the Rank system. It does not show up on the individual posts but it does in the member list. Also, the logo at the top needs to redirect to the home page and there used to be a link to forum/index.htm and the store under the words "Hydrodyners.com" at the top of the forum.

Yeah, the new style (which will be the default in the new version) sucks. Unfortunately, the older version (that we were using) gets screwed up with the new stuff. I'm working on fixing this now.
