Fuel starvation

    Mark,

    Sears sells a small "drag link" socket that looks like a screwdriver blade on the end
    and snaps on a 1/2" ratchet. I've used it on things like this before.

    I just took "new" 1984 out after purchasing it without water testing , but confirmation of all six cylinders working.

    Today I was having this exact same issue, and 100% I know the fuel line was dried up because I saw it flaking from when I attempted to remove the gas tank with 1/6th old bad gas!

    Instead filed the tank complete but forgot to add stabler. Big time rookie here!

    I've already added stabilizer to the tank, next I'll buy a new gas line and primer.



    Hopefully next outting the boat will run like it should.
