Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat The manufacturer is Lardasse' (pronounced lar dah say ) and the model is a Taterthrust. I don't know much about it, other than it will foul up the scenery faster than a manure truck in a NASCAR race, and what with the leak, mold, old fuel and oil in the bilge, and the old Beer spillage, it doesn't smell much better either. We use it on Lake Erie, we launch on the Black River in Lorain, by 12th and Broadway. It's about a mile to the lake down the river form there. Here are a couple photos of one day trip. It can be real fun when it's stormy, the water over the sides, and leaking through the crack sort of washes the smell away for a while. I gotta check on the web and see if anyone else owns one of these, I didnt think anyone would be interested in it.
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat Those are good pictures. Where do you store the boat? Can you get to it easily? I was hoping you could get a picture of the stern for me. Is there a serial number on the boat? That would have the manufacturer code which I can then look up for you. I like doing the research on these old boats. See if you can find a serial number and photograph it. We can go from there.
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat Hey. The boat is right behind the trailer (not the one in the photo, the one we live in) and no big whup for honey bisket to squeeze under the plywood scraps and old shingles we piled on top of her to keep her dry inside. Honey biskit isnt two good with the camera, but I held her legs while she leaned in, thats a a treat! She took these piktures of the tag and I dont know any moore. its the same as it says on the registration. I did look at the crack in the transum that I pounded the toilet wax ring in and now it all makes cents. I wondered why the toilet paper was still dragin from it after some months. I found out itss not TP its a tampon string! no wonder it didnt wash off. Ill be worken on her soon. I think I can get a few beans for the scrap aluminimun in the bottom. I found my sp0are tire for the trailer too. or maybe its for our house I dont know. One of the beersbehind the seat was still full, it tasted like oily gas, maybe i just tasted whats on the outside of the can. Can was big and puffed out, guess it froze this winter. tasted a little like thebeast, thats milwalkys best if you dont know. Ill be checkin back. Still waiting for that money from the nigerian guy to get a Hydrodyne
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat I have been searching carefully for Taterthrusters.com, but it is not anywhere on this internet. Maybe it is on the other Al Gore Internet, the one he invented while he was in high school. I was really hoping to find more taterthrusters out there but it seems like the company Lardasse' has failed to register with the United States Coast Guard. Is this a black market boat? Maybe it was built in Quebec where the language is not English, but French. Lardasse' sounds like a French name. Perhaps the boat could be right from France and it cracked in a storm while it was floating over to the United States. From the pictures above, maybe Google is not the right search engine. I should try beergoggle.com
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat Who knows. He isn't from Ohio, I know that. Obviously the rest of the information is pretty ridiculous as well. In any event, Mr. Bunny, please do not create multiple forum accounts. I took the liberty of giving your most recent one a permanent vacation from the forum. Let's hear it for the 2008 "meat" :yahoo: :clapping:
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat Has anyone decided when and where the "meat" will be? I may have a t-shirt idea for you Tim.
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat That was a good laugh that I needed at this point in the day. Thank you!
Re: hydrodyne regatta / meat Where is Bunny Boy Hopping off to now??? This thread has generated more talk about the 2008 Meat than I have been able to generate by posting responsible and reasonable requests for ideas and possible locations. Outside of one conversation with Erich from Must-Ski's, no one has come up with any ideas or suggestions for the MEAT!!! Is Bunny Boy really Obi-Wan Kenobi, can he help me find the force that will get all Hydrodyners to come out of the woodwork for the MEAT!!!??? Erich mentioned that one of their premier sponsors is Pernat-Haase Meats. These magnificent and magnanimous folks are easily capable of pulling a well cooked rabbit out of their hats in the form of a pig roast. This is one form of meat that we all know and love. 2.) Having Daniel and Mr. Bryan trailer all the way from California would be a meaty subject with fuel prices where they are, help me give them a great reason to bite on the MEAT!! and bring the boat that started the website out here to the Midwest MEAT!! 3.) My best friend said that Hydrodyners have way better fun than the Mark Twainers. He wants to come to our MEAT!!! Email, call, Hollar, and use the force to get this MEAT off the planning table and Airborne. The T-shirt idea works for me, too. Tim...Think MEAT!!!
