RAJBoatDude sent a bunch of pictures to me for next months Header pic. I just love seeing twins from the rear so I figured that I would put up these pictures. Daniel
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" Just below the rub rail looks like the top half is raised up 3or4 inches. Was this to get the motors up higher?
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" Are those the Verado 250's? Is one counterrotating? Ok, they are Verado's. Are they also 25 inch shaft length?
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" Hopefully he will come on here to explain but yes he told me that they raised the deck hieght on it for those big engines. Daniel
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" I posted earlier about those new Mercs. I think they are a very poor design in appearance. Mercury could have done a lot better. Greg
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" In that first picture (rear shot of engines) that boat appears to be about 4 foot wide. (I realize the red corners of the boat kind of get lost in that view.)
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" Yea, not much to do at 1 in the mourning but send emails. It's great to have a team that will trust you enough to experiment with a new Dyne. Yes it is a 25" transom with 2" added to the deck height. We run a counter on the left. The transom is about 67" wide. Tom has been great to work with. Also if you look close you will see built in trim tabs. Edd Rinehart
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" I saw that boat at the nationals and it was impressive. The Rock Aqua Jays have come up with some innovative boats over the years. You guys are the cutting edge. Rock on! jim
Re: RockAqua Jays "The Dyne" I just thought of something. I remember back in the mid 90s around 93ish the Rock Aqua Jays submitted a photo for the rig of the month award that Water Ski magazine use to post in the monthly mags. It was cool, it had their equipment bus hooked up to a twin rig, then another behind that, and another behind that. Does anyone here have that photo from the mag? That would be an awesome photo for here. Especially since they were all Hydrodynes back then, and even the bus carried the Hydrodyne name on the side too. Someone do some searching! Greg
