I'm looking at buying a 97 Grand Sport open bow. I believe it was one of the boats sold when the plant was closed. Are the stringers wood? Are the floors fiberglass or wood? I'm looking at it tomorrow, but a little nervous about all wood in a boat that is almost 20 years old.

    It is a 96 (not 97), Pro Boss GT-40, 366 hours.

Yes, they're wood, but the engine is mounted on an aluminum box that's tied into the stringers. Floor is also wood as far as I can tell. I have a 94, and there's no sign of wood damage in either stringers or floor on mine.
