Just back from the shop with a brand new transom. Hasn't even been in the water yet.

Great looking 18 footer you've got there.

    Rick,

Looks like they did a great job on replacing the transom. Did they pull up the whole deck to do it or just cut back the aft section ??
Does your boat have a pylon or did they just leave it off after the repairs ??

    Very nice looking boat !!!

Just curious what the cost was? I plan on doing mine myself but if the price is right I might be convinced to farm it out to someone else.

I'm trying to honor the forum's standards and keep this thread about the pictures. I have another discussion thread where I'll answer questions over here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1296

Reviving this old thread to post a picture of the new aluminum trailer I got from Loadmaster yesterday. They custom made it to fit the boat and it handles like a dream. I've always had trouble launching at our neighborhood ramp with the old trailer because it sat so high - the bottom of the stern was 30" off the ground. This new one sits 21.5" up and the tongue is also 3' longer which should make launching much easier. Can't wait to try it out. Here is there info in case anyone is in need of a trailer. https://loadmastertrailer.com/
