Bob I would like more info on the boat. The only things I know is the boat came from MN, it was tradded in on a Moombo at Wissota Marine in Chippawa Falls, WI. I purchased it at a Marina in Green Bay, WI. It looks like the transom was repaired about 6 or so years ago. I know nothing about the fin being knocked off, if it ever dries up around here I'll crawl underneath the boat and give it a look. I look foward to hearing from you Thankyou Rob
Nice rig... what do you want to know.. I am the previous owner. Bought it in the late 80's with no motor from a ski show by Green Bay.. sat in storage while I was in college.. got my first enigineering job.. one of my first purchases was the 200 in 1995.. It was new sitting on a showroom floor... shall I go on...
Bob Jeremy "jachainskier" is a friend of mine. He was the first person to ask about the history of the boat. I'll give you an email with my info Thanks Rob
The club had 2 dynes for sale.. an 85or88 and that 78.. and 1 200hp Yamaha.. I bought the 78 with no motor.. my cousin bought the mid 80's dyne with the 200 yama.. his motor blew up a few yeras back... any way... I put the Evin motor on in 95.. and ran it a bunch.. redid the whole trailer in... 97 or 98. I was pressured by my newly aquired wife that the 78 was not really a family boat. Since we already had my dads 64 dyne in the family (He bought it in 65) we a felt we could part with the 78. I traded it in on the Moomba at Wissota in 02. I think I still have the boom that came with it somewhere, but it wasn't really that stable. I took the fin off the bottom because that boat wasn't meant to have a fin.. its just not right. also.. the prevoius owner screwed up the rollers on the trailer thinking they could drive it on... I did give it to Wissota when I traded it in.. looks like someone put it back on. It was a good boat for the time I had it.. loved it.
1964 dyne Thank you for all the info. I and my family have had a lot of fun with the boat, it was tough to put it away for the winter. Rob
It has spent alot of time on the Mississippi River around Winona, MN - Trempealeau, Wi, so you may have people stop and talk to you if you are ever in that area... What lakes are you mostly on these days so I may happen to see it again???
I live on Tuttle Lake by Neshkoro, WI. Which is 35 miles west from Oshkosh. If you are ever in the area, I would be happy to give you and your family a pull Rob
