I doubt you will find an exact replacement for the fuel tank. However, you can check with Overton's, your local marine dealer, or many other online marine parts distributors for one that will fit in the space you have available. Most places are good about giving dimensions of their tanks, and there are generally a few different shaped tanks for each size, so you can find one that best suits your needs.

Where does the fuel tank go on the flat top anyway? is it below deck?

So what motor is on this one?

What is it like riding into a turn?

Welcome Mustang84gt to the site. My flattop has been converted to an outboard hull. The gas tank is in the center keel just in front of the center console. I would say it is about 40-50 gals. I am taking the deck off and replacing the tank with a smaller one that I took out of an older I/O.

I bought this very same boat however mine is the light green color. I am looking to sell mine as I would rather have an aluminum hull for durability. Just out of curiousity how much did you pay for yours. I do not know where I should price mine at. Thanks -Chris

I know it has been a few years since your post. We have a 67 like yours. The original gas tank is not in use. Someone put a smaller one beside it. Just wanted to let you know we have it.
