Looks like the previous owner banged the hull on numerous rocks and chipped the gelcoat in multiple spots. They originally had bondo covering these areas but it looked terrible so I ground and sanded it away. Do I need to repair this with fiberglass or can I bondo and color match it with a gelcoat repair kit? The fiberglass hull is in great shape, no dry flaky spots when I uncovered these areas.

On the deep gouges you may want to fill in with "Dura Glass" and sand back into shape and then top coat with MarineTex.
