I know it's not a Hydrodyne but I kinda like this "Tow Rig" Combo

    Yep. If this is one of those police issued 1995 caprices (short run cop cars and than crown vics til around 2010) would do the job and than some, even if not a police issue. For the eBay auction, I guess it's a matter of liking more pedals and dealing with the launch which is a bit of a challenge and not to my liking from the bad pre-drivers license experience. We had the ass (sorry Bryan) of the Scout 1 to 2/3 in before I took over. Of course it was my idea to take dads boat out.

    I had a 1994 ford taurus wagon (hate to admit it but that was the vehicle at the time) when we first brought the 75 i/o in 1998. On the steeper launches, had to have the crew sit over the front tires to get the boat and trailer out. Good times had by all, just a funny pic from the drivers seat.

    Jim, your setup serves the purpose! It is an example of the KISS model as in "keep it simple stupid".
