50-55 max. way to much weight to go any faster. not made for speed, made for pulling ALOT!

I have no doubt the PJP boats sit higher in the water. But our triples also have added 3 hydraulic jackplates (225lbs) and we carry about 1200 lbs. of ballast in the bow. I don't know what Beaverland has for bow weight.

toms boats are tried and true. There is a reason that almost all teams use his boats.

    Edd,

Why three jack plates on the R.A.J.'s boat?

The world of boat building has changed. Has anyone other than Dyna-Ski built any ski team boats lately? I know that Tom sent customers to Dyna-Ski this year.

I'm sure that Badgerland and the Must Skis would be happy to talk about their boats maybe even give serious ski team drivers a ride. The big block three motored boats are dangerous so I don't think they will just let anybody drive their $80 K boats. With the older style boats the driver had to be careful not to swamp the boat. Much less of a concern with the new style Dyna-Ski boats.

Dyna-Ski even built a triple Mercury Verado powered boat for Hartwick several years ago. This boat was a drive by wire Mercury Smart Craft System. Unfortunately Hartwick lost their lake recently. A ski team sponsored by Mercury couldn't get their older style "Dyne" to work with only two Verados so they sold it. The triple Dyna-Ski in the picture had 280 lbs in the nose which because of the changes made to the hull runs good without a lot of weight in the nose. New style Dyna-Ski Boats don't need weight to run properly.

There are several reasons to add weight to a fairly short and narrow boat with three motors.

I chose jackplates because there was limited data on how close the centers could be. I also didn't know if there was clearance for the hydraulic steering rams.

I have never said anything negative about your boats on this site. I do not believe it to be very professional on your part to say anything negative about our boat or motor sponsor. I have spoke with Madison and they are very happy with the purchase.

FYI: Tom Miller Dynes powered by Mercury Outboards took 1st & 2nd at Wisconsin Regionals D1 this year.

    Edd,

I am old and have been around show skiing for a long time. You and your team have the highest of reputations. I know that you have helped many new drivers get acclimated to the twins and triples.

Your research and development efforts are respected throughout the show ski world.

Your equipment is nicely set up and spotless.

Please keep up the good work.
