My dad took some great pics of the new Legacy done by D & S Marine and the Rock Aqua Jays. He was told the boat does differ from the original 20 Comp haul, its 12" longer, 4" wider, and 2" deeper. The boat as it sat has 700lbs of lead shot in the nose as well. The boat looks really really good! Great shots, and a really impressive boat up close. Glad I had the opportunity to look at it during Nationals. Any updates from the Aqua Jays on how it drives would be appreciated.
Looks like it was really thought out from the engineering that this 20 hull offers and was purposed for. The Gauge hump is a bit much but its a triple-rig so it makes sense. My $0.02. Do not own own and have never driven one. Kevinb-
RiverRat sorry i'm so slow to respond but we only had a couple of weeks last year to test with skiers. We've got some time in this year now and are very happy with the results. There are now 5 new boats with 4 in the water and have heard great reviews . There will be 3 Legacy's Madison,Wisconsin Rapids and us at Wisconsin Regionals in July. I'm sure all the drivers will be more than happy to speak with anyone about the Legacy.
