Thanks, everyone! It was a nice surprise you hear from you guys! Can't believe I'm 40. Still a kid at heart, though, just like Captain Jim and the rest of you. I have to tell you - I've never gotten any milage out of the Valentines Day birthday thing. My wife isn't really a Hallmark Holiday person so I've always gotten a break on the issue of my complete lack of romantic qualities. The best birthday present I could have is to get my boat back. It is in a paint booth as we speak and was all primed as of yesterday. I have been told that I should be able to pick it up by Sunday. We'll see..... Thanks again everyone! Happy Birthday Mark! It is turning 50 this past September I have trouble believing. I have to remind myself I ain't 30 or 40 anymore! A bit of wisdom for your 40th Birthday that was given to me when I was still a mere 27 or so. I was a waitress and taking an older mans cash at the register. He was telling me he and his wife had just gotten back from a trip some place. I said "I would love to go there some time." My mother who was the manager walked and said "Now is the time for working and there is plenty of time for you to play when you retire." She didn't like me having any fun cuz she never did and doesn't even know how to. Well, she walked away and the man spoke to me again saying: "Don't listen to her, do it now before you get old. I can't do most of the things I was hoping to do when I retired because of health, energy, funds and I am just to dam old to enjoy them now. Do all you can do while your young and you have something to remember and talk about when your my age." What this senior citizen said to me that day has always stuck! My birthday wish for you is you get your BOAT back on SUNDAY!!!!!!
