Hey there! New to the boards...but here goes.... In the early 80's when I was a kid, my brother and I would go out on my dads boat and go tubing, etc. I'm just trying to figure out what it was exactly. Here's what I know....it had a seating area contained similarly to a pontoon boat, but without a cover. The bow also featured a flat "deck" but it wasn't squared off like a pontoon, but more like a traditional ski boat bow. It also had a Mercury 175 on it, so this thing could haul! Again, this was sometime between 86-95(I think), so I would guess the model year would be late 70's early 80's. Any thoughts?! Thanks!
Sounds like a Hydrodyne Flat Top. Go check out the "Pics of Your Glass" section and you'll find a sub-forum for flat tops. Most seem to have I/O's but some had outboards as well. If you're looking for one, usually a nationwide craigslist search is your best bet, as they're pretty rare.
