What can I say, life drags you in different directions. It’s hard to believe that the site has been up for 16 years, it’s not as active as it once was. Probably because the only real updates are in the forum.

Bryan still tends to the fields so to speak but I have not done much in the way of new content. I have 2 kids now 4 and 7, I still have the Hydrodyne and try to use it a couple times a year. But as everyone knows, free time seems to be getting less and less.

I have also been doing a little in the Ham radio field (K6YIC is my call sign) and messing around with old teletypes. It gives me something to do between work, raising kids and maintaining a household.

I have continued working through this whole
Pandemic so my days have not changed much. I hope all others are also on the better end of good. I plan on making some small changes on the site over the next few months, adding some pictures changing some of the layouts. The page is really showing its age.

So everyone take care, continue keeping those dynes on the water and we will talk to everyone soon.

    Daniel

Daniel, I am 83 now, but still using the Dyne. I fear that reviving this site might be more difficult than the start up.

    Hey Jim and Daniel:

I believe that the old followers of Hydrodyners.com are still around. My 1985 20 I/o saw one day this year because of priorities, family, and job but still am holding onto it. Too much time invested on the rebuild to let it go. Please stay clear of the COVID-19. My sister has it in late January 2020 and a sporting clay's friend and his family around the 4th of July. Not pleasant but but both pulled through. Please do re- start this sight. I watch Hydrodyne Boats on Facebook but will not comment there (I am not a fan of social media).

Best regards to both of you,

    Kevin-

Thanks for the input. Most of the site is technology challenged as its pretty close to the same as it was in 2004-2005. I plan on using the format from my other site http://K6YIC.com

Thank you for all your work here Daniel. I have had a lot of fun here. I am checking in every day.

My daughter has said that she wants the Dyne and the Jeep. So the Dyne will live on.

Hey, you are getting new members. I just signed up this month after skiing behind a '74 dyne for over 20 years and purchasing a '96 last week. Happy to be here.

    Hi Guys,

I'm still out here. I check in now and then but not too often.

Had my '74 Dyne in the water a few times this summer but it mostly spent it's time on the trailer. The old Dyne still turns heads and I even got a couple thumbs up.

Both my Dyna-Ski and my Dyne got detailed this year. Wife still wants me to put a windshield on the old boat? (same argument we have every year)

Hope you're all well. Be safe.

    Best,

    Kevin

    Hello All,
Hope everyone is staying safe and actively promoting their Hydrodynes.
Does anyone know the brand/model number of a replacement shock absorber for
under the seat of the 62 to 65 Hydrodynes? My second restoration is nearing completion but
It was missing the shock when I bought the boat.
    Thanks much,
    Wally Cooper
