I know I think it has alot to do with the Holidays and distractions. I have been under the gun at work since they guy who schedules vacations scheduled a bunch of people for the same time off. Starting Monday 2 of the three Round House supervisors is gone so that means that I will have to fill in by working 12 hour days. I figure after the New year business will pick up and things will return to normal. Daniel
It will pick up again if I ever get my boat back, because I'll post a bunch of pictures. I think I'll call the painter again this week. Can't hurt. On the other hand, it has never helped, either. Neutral
I keep thinking of this line from one of my son's books called Frederick by Leo Lionni. "For the winter days are long and many, and we'll run out of things to say."
I'm glad winter crawls. Maybe my painter will actually finish my boat if winter crawls slow enough... He promised to email me some pictures of the progress over the weekend. So far no pictures. If I get any I'll pass them along just to pass the time...
Mark, I think I would give up on this guy if I were you. If he can't paint it in six months, somethings wrong. The offer still stands....I'll give you the number of my guy if you want. He's good !!!! Bob
We need to find something to cheer you up Mark. I guess the title of this thread fits your painter. It sounds like maybe he inhaled too much paint vapor. jim
I told him that I need the boat back either way in January, so I've got time to bring it somewhere else and still get it rigged. I suspect that I'll be going and picking it up unfinished, but at this point I can't deal with it before the holidays anyway. Then I'll be contacting you guys. I'd probably go with the painter in Beloit, since that is close. Have a great holiday! Mark
