Does anyone remember if there were any Dyne 18's produced with jet drives? There was a family on Lake Minocqua that owned an inboard that may have been a jet drive.

Gus Grisson and Gordon Cooper ran Hydrodyne jet boats in the 60's. There are some videos of them, but they have been blocked in this country. I could not find any pictures, but I have seen the videos. They were not the 18 ski boat.

    Thanks Jim!

I remember going back about 45 years ago the Pittman Family had a very nice vacation home across from the Aqua-Bowl. The Pittmans were staunch supporters and skiers in the Min-Aqua Bats and their 18' was an inboard but supposedly had a jet drive. The Min-Aqua Bat member who gave us ski lessons mentioned that the Pittmans were having trouble with it. I was not yet into the boating world at that point in time enough to know that there even was a jet drive option for boats. I will try to ask this question on the Min-Aqua Bats website and see if there is an answer. The Bats have a reunion every ten years. I will also check with Lynn Novakofski, a storied Bats Alumnus, who may know of this Dyne. Mr. Novakofski spent a huge amount of his youth on skis behind Hydrodynes.
