I'm looking to buy a hydrodyne, but would like the hull to be mostly restored if possible, I just don't have to time to put into it. I could do the engine work, but not much else with my current time schedule. But, if the right boat came along, I might be able to work something out. Does anybody know of any boats that are currently for sale? I have attached a picture of one that I found that would have been perfect, but it is already sold.
The cheapest and easiest way to do that is to buy a new one. Here is the contact information for the manufacturer: The boat called "the Dyne' is built by: Fiberglass Products & Boat Repair State Rd. 1 St. Joe, IN 46785 219 337 5636 FAX 219 337 1274 Toll free 800 861 8094 Ask for Tom Miller. Tell him that you want the 'New deck" version of the 18 footer. The boat in the picture you showed is the 18 footer with the new deck. I have driven one of the 18's and it is a dandy. jim
How much money would I be looking at for a new one? The one in the picture sold for $11,000. If it is much more than that, I would have to think hard about just going with a MasterCraft.
