I have talked to Bob Jesson plenty of times, This is the agreement that we had before the site went up in 2004 and I talked to him before I made the site what it is today a couple months back. Just have to keep the thing on a Enthusiast Web-Site type level, no selling or marketing boats. Daniel PS "The Dyne" Is not a Trademarked name. Perhaps an Attorney that specializes in Trade Marks is working on one. Takes awhile for it to show up on the web site. PJP
So PJP are you trademarking the name The Dyne? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" border="0" alt="Evil or Very Mad" title="Evil or Very Mad" />
I know why I spent a lot of time and effort not to mention money building a 1968 Firebird Hot Rod. When I did my car it was easy to do as parts were more readily available then than they are now. Now it would be tougher and cost a great deal more. I'd be inclined to just order a new factory made Shelby or something similiar right now. I'm still trying to learn why someone would do that with an old boat? It isn't clear to me and I figured that someone on this board could explain it. It sure isn't performance because a single 250 E-Tec on one of our 20' Boats will outperform any of the old 18' twin rigs with their old motors. Mine was good for 70 mph on the GPS last fall. I suspected all along that no one would pony up any real money for a 18' boat. Few people will (or have) the money to put where their mouth (or keyboard) is. Plenty of that going around on web groups. We could start simple, how many people own a boat and what is it? PJP
