I am not currently looking for this boat but found a few old ads on the net for them. Maybe someday when I buy a v-drive I would.

Anyone know about them? I had never heard of them.

All I could find was it was the GT40 and V-Drive.

    Thanks

The Nexstar's were built in Hydrodyne's last production year, and I believe all are badged as 97's. They're all V-drives with GT-40's, and I believe were in the 20/21 foot range. They're a solidly built boat, as all the dyne's were, and not too common. They're probably one of the better skiing v-drives out there, but have a bit of an i/o runaboat look to them. Lots of storage in the rear. Cabin seating is a rear bench/observer bench (like the Nautique Excel v-drives), as opposed to wrap-around seating found in most current v-drives.

I only see a couple used ones come up for sale each year, but it'll be one I keep an eye out for when/if I ever decide to upgrade from my 94 Grand Sport DD.

    Thanks Jim and Tom.

It is an interesting boat and unique so it might need to be on my someday buy list.
