steering wheel location

    Boat Model and Year:
    Late 1950's or early 1960's Hydrodyne 1700
    Does anyone know why the steering wheel is on the left of some dynes?

    Boat Model and Year:
    77 Dyne 18 I/O converted to Outboard
    Some of the older motors were left hand rotation. The helm on the left would help to counteract the torque in that case.
