Found this music video on youtube. It looks like an old Correct Craft extremely nice boat, not to mention the song itself is great and coming from Kidrock is pretty amazing. Daniel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUaP7LoppGw
I've actually done a little searching when the video came out and found that the boat in the "All Summer Long" video is a custom built 2003 Grand-Craft built in Holland Michigan. I like old wood inboards, so was interested to find out what kind it was.
Does anyone recall what year they made the wooden Ski Nautique? I think it was like 1993 right? Remember it had a wood decked bow and floor too? Cool idea, but I think it had too have been extremely expensive to make. I like the wood boats too. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of a company called Hacker Craft, but they make the most beautiful Mahogany wooden boats I have ever seen. Back around the mid 90s my family and I got the pleasure to go for a ride in a 3 cockpit Hacker. It was huge, like 24'. It had the nicest ride I have ever had in a boat. It cut through the waves instead of bouncing over them. I had the pleasure of riding in the third cockpit behind the engine bay. If I recall correctly it had twin 454 inboards. The sound was incredible. Greg
The Ski Nautique was called the Paragon. The wood was very thin pieces put on top of the fiberglass for a wooden boat effect. I think they made two different color hulls for these boats -green and maroon. I don't remember about the floor but I have been in one before. They are neat boats and fetch a pretty penny from the Nautique crew. I still have this old boat. I think I have posted some of these pictures before. My wife named the boat "Good Vibrations" because the motor is a two cylinder opposed and both fire at the same time. The vibration tickled her feet. I also have a four cylinder opposed engine for it that is not running yet. jim
