    Yes,

Try clicking on the picture and make it bigger. After you do that you may be able to hold your cursor over the bottom right hand corner of the pic and get a symbol to click on to make it even bigger. computers vary, but mine works like that.

Here are a couple more pictures that show the deck, floor and back end. The pylon is bolted down with four bolds in the back but in this picture I only had two.

Seeing that 2MERCS in the garage kind of a little dark in there makes me think that it just might be alive.

    custom Fin Addition

My step dad always got away from the norm different ski pylon, half floor, side tanks etc... The one thing he had a problem with on the Dyne was cornering with skiers pulling hard on the boat. The original dyne fin allowed the boat to move to much so he added two more. They look rough in the pic, when I had the boat painted they were painted also and the paint has come off. Needless to say the boat stays pretty flat in the corners and will throw everything out with the G force it creates. They don't look great (I think it is the only ugly part of the boat) but they get the job done. The only thing I have to do is keep sealent on them since the bolt all the way through to the inside of the floor.

PS Jim this is what we talked about

That is clever. A lot of the inboards use three like that.

I see you've got a bilge channel down the middle of the boat so you don't have to bail up front.

Mine was not made with a bilge channel so I was afraid to add one, thinking there might be a reason that it wasn't made with one. I thought about it. Sort of wish I had put one in. See? If this site had been active at that time I would have learned that the bilge channel works! Of course, my boat had a stringer right down the middle so I would have needed to offset the bilge channel and I'm not sure it would have been worth the extra work.

    I love the fins!

On the new style 18' I had there was two bilge holes near the center that allows the water to flow to the rear from the front leg room area. Also the center tracking fins that were on the new style 18' use 2 "inboard style" tracking fins instead of the original one piece design. I found that the boat did not "roll up on its side" as much with the 2 fins. The large center fin makes it perform very different. If anyone wants to switch you can probably contact Riverside and they can send some to you.

Maybe Bob can take some photos of the fins and post them to this site.

    Mark,

I would not worry about the lack of a drain for the foot well. In my experience the way the water gets into the foot well is through the drain. I keep mine plugged all the time and I have not had any water up there in years. The water gets into the carpet and has to be sponged out anyway.

When a skier gets into the boat they bring a little water and in runs off the floor into the rear area where the bilge pump is. You can take some water if you run in big chop also. Then when you decelerate the water goes forward through the drain and gets every thing wet up forward.

If you take water over the deck it will get in there of course.

    Hey Plantman:

I ordered and replaced a bow tank on a 1973 tournament skier with a 19 gallon, Moeller poly fuel cell about five years back and it fit perfect. The fuel fill cap was in the center of the foredeck and lined up real good with the new tank. Had to remove some of the floation foam to get it bolted down but the end result was great. I purchased the tank through cabelas.com and the model # was 900. a link to their web page is attached (you may have to cut and paste the link into your web browser as it doesn't appear to be a live link). Make sure you order the tank hold down kit also if you pursue this setup.

    Hope this helps!
