Re: 2007 Show Ski Nationals Greg I'm sorry to hear that. Any time you want just say the word and I'll fly up to KRFD and pick you up and you can fly mine from the right seat. We can go grab lunch up in Janesville or something.
Re: 2007 Show Ski Nationals Unfortunately, I can't pass a medical anymore so no more PIC tiime for me. Marty
Re: 2007 Show Ski Nationals When I met my wife, I had a '98 GMC Crew Cab Dually SLT, a 97 Yammie YZF1000R, a 94 FZR1000, a 92 FJ 1200 with ABS and a 82 Seca 750 followed up by a 87 Volvo Turbo Station Wagon with a manual trans, and now that I am married, I have a stiff mortgage, an 18 year old Schwinn and my Saturn ION coupe. Are any of you thinking about MARRIAGE that have not done so all ready??? I need a new career that provides the financial means to extinguish debt on a momentary basis and the opportunity to accrue toys along the lines of triple rig Dynes, utterly radical tow rigs, and a fabulous lake estate at which all of the Dyners could hang out at. Any ideas? Tim
Re: 2007 Show Ski Nationals I've had some ideas on how to do the same for myself, but all the ones I have come up with are not considered legal, and I prefer debt to jail. Keep me posted if you find a good one Tim. Oh yeah, and I'm not married yet, so the best (worst?) is yet to come.
Moved These items out of the section of 2007 Nationals Gathering since it was off topic. Sorry for the inconvience, Daniel
Fast Movers on this site!!! Marriage is great if you can just find the woman that will let you have the toys and go for rides with you. My wife used to love going for long yammie rides, until she learned about the comfort of the back of a Harley Electra Glide during a rental out of Orlando a couple of years ago. Armrests, backrest, and lots of plush comfort are to her liking, but make that lead sled get to 65 mph in first gear without exploding???? Question Long story short, being married is great; I should have held on to a couple of toys in spite of her objections. Do the best you can to keep a balance. Work hard, keep the toys you have now, or lose them and a part of your life with them. Look at it in terms of the enjoyment you derive from the activity (motorcycles, aircraft, HYDRODYNES!!!, cars, trucks, submarines) and find a way to keep that activity in your life. Legally, of course.
I'll vote for that. A few years ago I had a Kawasaki H-2. Do any of you know what that is? My last bike was a BMW R100RS Belgian bike. Have you ever heard of it? jim
This is our next father/son project. A 2004 GTO hoping to go 180mph in 8 seconds on a 10.5" tire and no wheelie bars. I don't think my son will let me drive it and I don't blame him. Shocked Will be in Chicago July 19th-21st.
