Looks like there is a Pittsburgh, PA boat restorer that has dealt with Hydrodynes (looks like they have two boats under their belt). I have not contacted them, or dealt with them but judging from the pics, they are going the distance (as in core replacement). I don't know if the replacement done in end-grain balsa but the width of the core pieces look a little wide for the hull shape. Also, Not a big fan of the later 1970's/80's metal flake (yes the 1885 i/o that I own has some of this) but this appears to be original gel which I kinda like and appreciate in the end.
