As promised, some pictures from this evening's show.

Hats off to PJP and Dyna-Ski - this was one cool boat to watch. Stole the show.

It still bothers me that the announcer introduces it simply as "the outboard" rather than identifying it. At least the name "Dyna-ski" is on the boat.

    Enjoy the pictures.

Cool Boat! What kind of throttle controls do they use couldn't tell from the pictures?

I seen some interior pics of this boat a few weeks ago, and I think I saw brp controls.

Ski Cats have a new twin Dyna-Ski with Mercury 200s.

Twin Bridge has a triple Dyna-Ski with 115 Tahatso motors, yep you read that correctly. Watch for a national commericial featuring this boat and motors!

The twin 115 Tohatsus are about as big as a four stroke 150 Yamaha, they are two stroke TLDI with a huge oil tank under the cowl.

I like how the throttles have a decent place to mount that gives room underneath for the cables to bend slowly. But I'm not a huge fan of the side by side style, along with having them stick out that far into the cockpit. Seems like a huge waste of interior room. Couldn't the box that the throttles are mounted to be part of the deck mold to save some space and elimatate a bolt on piece? Then go with the front and rear shift and throttle levers to save some more space.

You can have John make a mounting pod as small or large as you want. I can't stand the fore/aft placement for triple controls, this suits me much better personally and is how our triple is set up. The deck was built this way to allow for adjustable height and fore/aft mounting of the control. Change drivers and you can change the location of the control. If you change brands you simply can get a new pod made. If you had a narrower pod made you could have the seat over further. Also having the higher sided deck keeps the driver drier in right hand turns. Hopefully I'll be driving a new twin like this next year.
