My Nephew and I went snowskiing and kneeboarding on the same day. Here is a video http://www.hydrodyners.com/videos/0331273003228.wmv
Re:NOT Only in Wisconsin Do not mean to burst your happy bubble, but you can easily do that in Oregon. Palmer snowfield, on Mt Hood, is regularly used for Summer training for the US Olympic Alpine team. The opening day for the chairlift on Palmer is usually around Memorial day. I understand some Snow ski areas got over a foot of snow last night. On some of our mountains, you can easily find runs with over 3000 verticle feet of drop.
Or just go to MN and do a barefoot run on the Mississippi morning of Jan. 1 (standing date for a winter run) and then go snow skiing afterwards.
Have to drive a bit further but it can be done in California where I live. Lake Elsinore during the day and a 60 mile drive to Big Bear and snow skiing it is. Daniel
