I just saw that pic the other day in the clubhouse but it about 16x20 so it won't fit on my scanner.

jachainskier, we tried some different props but I think we settled on 3-blade 15 pitch mirage-plus's. The 15's seem to work best for pulling bigger ballet line's. They seem to be easier at holding a constant speed. As far as top speed we will have to ask MM to answer that question on this site. Mike drove the boat from the beginning and can answer your questions about the driving part of the Verado's.

jachainskier and Rajboatdude,

Thank's for e-mailing me Edd, To answer the question about the props and speed. We did start the season with 15P Mirage Plus props, and it ran really good. Lots of pulling power, and with a motor Redline at about 6400 rpm, we were able to get both awsome pulls and a top speed of about 51-52 mph on Livorsi GPS. That's without a load. One practice before the big boats got there we pulled a 8 man barefoot line once, and with the trim up a bit and all we could muster out of it we ran about 45 mph. Then later in the year to help with some handling, we put 17P Rev 4's on it. A four blade prop by Mercury. It worked really well, lost a little snap, but top speed increased to 55 or so, and we were still able to easily pull anyting that we needed to without exceeding around 4/5 throttle.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! The whole family just left. The grandkids didn't get to ski but they had a blast on the little 4-wheeler.
I was down at the clubhouse last week and brought home the picture you were talking about Greg. It was an 11x14 so it fit in the scanner. This was taken in 1995.

I second that vote. I like how the bus is painted like a dyne.

All right, this will be the next header picture at the top of the web site. It is big clear and full of dynes. I will include the team logo also.

Daniel,

I know you like Twins and everyone knows I'm partial to Mercurys on Tom Miller boats so I just had to post this picture.

Edd,

Looks cool....

That boat rides fairly high in the water even with those heavy Verados.

What is that bar going across the boat in the rear area where the cleats usually go ?

Did you ever get Mercury to pop for the 300xs for the tripple rig?

Bob
