I found this video on YouTube today. I know Dad was busy talking to Tom Miller when it happened at Nationals this year. So for anyone who missed it or who wants to see it again, here it is: <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" border="0" alt="Fun To Watch" title="Fun To Watch" /> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCGSEjZstqM" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCGSEjZstqM</a>
4,000 pounds of man? Now that's what I'm talking about! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" border="0" alt="Fun To Watch" title="Fun To Watch" /> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" border="0" alt="Fun To Watch" title="Fun To Watch" /> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" border="0" alt="Fun To Watch" title="Fun To Watch" /> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYiVBL4aSrw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYiVBL4aSrw</a>
We must be reading the same stuff. I watched that today also after following the link for the NBC news thing and skiers in the background. That is really amazing how they thread that boat and the 2 pyramids through the docks. Daniel
The part that stinks is that one of our members thought of the idea about 3 years ago. We were never very good with prefabs though (since we never really practiced them). His idea would have been start with one and pick up one on each side (much smaller scale). Too bad we didn't follow through with it. Way to step it up Wonder Lake!
I'd have to say that it is the best show ski act I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. It still gives me chills to watch it. I probably owe an apology to anyone sitting around me at Nationals. I hope I didn't blow your ear drum out when I screamed.
