    For the record, it has already been done. Mercury even put one on an outboard midsection.

    Hmmmm...
    Turbine Dyne can be achieved by using an outboard turbine by Turbine Ted Mc Intyre down near New Orleans. He uses retired turboshafts from helicopters on bigger boats, but he does make a bolt on outboard that runs on diesel fuel. His website is http://www.marineturbine.com . Don't know about the thought of sucking JP-4 fumes while skkiinngg behind it. coff coff.
